Active Heroes Retreat Volunteer Projects

Active Heroes, a Louisville based 501c3 charity, is hosting volunteer projects at the new Kentucky Military Family Retreat located in Shepherdsville, KY. We are looking for anyone who wants to get involved with trash and barbed wire clean out, cutting grass and brush, chopping down locus trees and some heavy lifting that is needed from April 15th - April 22nd.  (If other dates work better for your group please contact me.)  The 144 acre retreat is going to be a one of a kind place of healing that will also connect veterans and their families with educational programs and job opportunities. We have 36 military families camping at the retreat in June, so these clean out projects are very needed.
