When she read LITTLE WOMEN, nine year old Leslie Moise knew she wanted to be a writer like Jo March.  She began her first novel, a mystery, at age twenty-one.  Pearlsong Press published her first book, LOVE IS THE THREAD, a knitting memoir about the friend who taught her to knit.  Since then, Leslie has survived a stroke in the language center of her brain, and gone on to write two historical novels. 
JUDITH won an International Book Award Finalist medal, and UNDER THE POMEGRANATE TREE has been an Amazon best seller three times since publication.  Pearlsong published both historical novels, and will publish Leslie's young adult fantasy novel, SELKIE SONG later this year.  She also has a poetry chapbook, LINKED BY THE JOY OF WORDS, and a nonfiction book co-authored with Lexington author, Paschal Baute, titled YOUR STORY'S POWER.
