October 15/16, 2016 6 pm to 8 am Youth and family participants are asked to gather sponsorships for their "box". They'll receive an event T-shirt with $50 in sponsorships. Please request a registration form. Youth registrations must be accompanied by their chaperone/sponsor/adult family member's registration. Maximum of ten youth per chaperone.

Room in the Inn* (RITI) is Bullitt County’s only emergency shelter. Along with as many as twenty local businesses, civic groups and supporting agencies, RITI utilizes a network of 35 local churches of all sizes and denominations providing safe shelter to men, women and children along with morning and evening meals seven nights a week. Transportation and job search help is made available to our “guests” as well. We see an average stay of six to eight weeks with approximately 100 family units stabilized over the past seventeen months. This represents over 5000 nights of food and shelter with nearly 80,000 volunteer hours of “intensive care” to our hurting ‘”guests”.
Will you be part of this new Annual event to raise funds and awareness for combating the plight of homelessness that plagues many displaced families and individuals in our community? The many students who will be experiencing a ‘night in a box’ will be asking for individual sponsors for their night.
We would ask our corporate sponsors to help underwrite not only the cost of the event, but to make a significant contribution toward the solutions. Corporate sponsors are encouraged to provide marketing items (i.e. water bottles with your logo, adhesive labels for the boxes, pens, markers, etc.) or underwrite specific costs such as T-shirts (and have your name added -if you contact us soon enough), the food line, publicity and media coverage, prizes for the student with the most sponsors, the highest sponsor contribution total, etc. And of course, we are hoping our corporate sponsors will make significant contributions. We will be happy to acknowledge your company on our Sponsor Banner, and any post event publicity (or pre-event if we know early enough).
