This year the Bullitt County History Museum celebrates its 15th
Anniversary. You are invited to join us in celebrating this milestone. The
museum opened its doors on October 25, 2004 under the leadership of David
Strange. The museum is a service of the Bullitt County Genealogical
Society. Please come and help us celebrate 15 years of preserving and
sharing Bullitt County History! The display rooms are on the first floor,
the refreshments, and book sales will be on the second floor.
The museum needs your help! In order to maintain the operations of the
museum, it takes a lot of money! The museum charges no admission fee and
only a nominal fee for copies. The museum also offers free access to fee based genealogical websites. The
museum covers this expense and does NOT pass it on to our patrons. In honor of our 15th Anniversary we have set a goal
to raised $1500.00. We accept donations of any size payable by cash or
check!
Please come by and see the old stone jail, the 1917 train wreck display
and so much more! We will have volunteers here to help assist you with we
any questions you might have.
We will have:
