Chambers United for Veterans - August

Description

The Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of St. Matthews are joining forces to host a veterans networking group designed to connect veterans, active-duty service members, and military families within the community. Initially, this will be a quarterly networking event, with potential adjustments based on the group's evolving needs.

This quarter's highlight will be Operation Restore (Mark12 Ministries). Operation Restore is dedicated to helping veterans live a life that honors their service and sacrifice. Using an outcome-based and multi-faceted approach, Operation Restore serves veterans in Bullitt County, providing support and resources tailored to their unique needs. Many veterans face challenges such as reintegrating into civilian life, coping with physical and mental health issues, and finding employment and housing. By addressing these issues, Operation Restore aims to ensure that veterans receive the comprehensive support they deserve.
