I am calling on all Chamber members to please join us for our very first “Stuff The Bus” Food Drive event! For those that are not aware, over 400 students in our county are considered homeless and that means that more days than not, their only meals they are getting are while they are in school. Because of this, most of our schools here in the Bullitt County district have set up food pantries to provide for these students outside of school hours. It has been brought to our attention that the pantries are struggling extremely to the point that some are completely empty. This means we have neighboring children that are going to bed hungry at night that need our help! As a chamber, this is what we do best. This is our time to pull together as local business leaders and show up for our community!
 
We will be set up at Priceless Foods on Sunday, November 3^rd from 1p-4p collecting nonperishable items (examples listed below). If you are unable to be there on Sunday, Priceless has a box in the front of the store to start collecting OR you can drop items off or make donations at the Bullitt County Chamber Office. All donations will be given to the Bullitt County Youth Service Center to distribute amongst the county schools that are in need.
