80% Replica of the Vietnam Traveling Wall July 24th-30thReminder to mark your calendars and come out and see the Vietnam Traveling Wall while it's displayed in the Shepherdsville City Park. The Wall is 360ft. with over 70,000 names!
List of Timeline of events:
July 23rd (the day before the Wall arrives):
There will be a dinner & LIVE auction at the American Legion Post 157. Tickets are $10. Dinner will be served at 6:00PM and the live auction will start at 7:00PM.
830 Old Preston HWY S.
July 24th:
There will be a convoy from Mt. Washington Sports Complex to Landis Ln., to Old Bardstown Rd., down HWY 44 to the Shepherdsville City Park to escort the Vietnam Traveling Wall. We invite the public to line HWY 44 and gather at the Shepherdsville City Park!
Midnight of the 24th to the morning of July 30th- The Wall will be on display for public. Friday, Saturday & Sunday there will be food trucks, some vendors, ceremonies & music for attendees to enjoy!
We are still looking for some volunteers while the Wall is here.
