April 4 -8 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm In conjunction with the Vanishing Acts: Trees Under Threat exhibit, Bernheim will offer a week of daily drop-in activities and guided programs to celebrate trees and the forest ecosystem. Self-guided activities for exploring the exhibit and learning about trees will also be available. DISCOVERY STATIONS: 11 A.M. ? 3 P.M. Hands-on Discovery Stations, featuring a variety of plant, animal, and nature activities will be offered daily at the Visitor Center by Bernheim educators. FIRE TOWER TOURS: 11 A.M. ? 3 P.M. Join a Bernheim educator to discover the forest from a bird?s-eye-view atop the historic Fire Tower. GUIDED NATURE HIKE: 2 ? 3 P.M. Each afternoon, Bernheim educators will lead a guided hike beneath the budding forest canopy. Children of all ages are welcome to join, but they must be accompanied by an adult. FREE event.
