Sycamore Farm is a nonprofit ministry serving exploited and trafficked adult women to help them get safe, stable, and on to their next best step. Forming in 2019, Sycamore Farm educates the community on human trafficking and predators, conducts jail outreach ministry in Bullitt County, and, in May 2023, opened the first emergency home in Louisville to serve this population.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on- and off-site role for a Program Director at Sycamore Farm Ky Inc. The Program Director will oversee and manage the Jail and Emergency Home programs, develop and implement strategies, lead program teams, and ensure program success.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field or relevant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with the management of a residential program is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a team environment
  • Knowledge of/experience with trauma-informed therapeutic approach and environment
  • Willingness to learn about the field of aftercare for sexually exploited and sex trafficked victims
  • Experience with case management practices and record-keeping
  • Experience with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and crisis management
  • Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with community partners
  • Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
