News Release: Bullitt County Public Library & Chamber Relaunch ''Show Your Library Card & Save''

One card, endless possibilities—and local savings, too.

SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY - Bullitt County Public Library (BCPL), in partnership with the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce, is relaunching Show Your Library Card & Save this September—for the first time since 2018. From September 1–30, 2025, anyone with a BCPL library card can show it at participating businesses to unlock special discounts, BOGOs, and other perks, all while supporting local shops and services across Bullitt County.

“This campaign makes it easy for people to explore Bullitt County, discover new favorites, and save—just by using the card they already love,” said Tara O’Hagan, Executive Director of BCPL. “A library card opens doors to learning and entertainment year-round; this September, it also opens doors to local deals.”

“Local businesses are the heart of our community,” said Anita Stump, President/CEO of the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce. “We’re thrilled to partner with BCPL on a fun, high-visibility promotion that drives traffic to storefronts while celebrating the value of shopping local.”
